2021 Accomplishments

Continued international travel restrictions due to the COVID pandemic and the high levels of civil unrest and gang activity have continued to impact our ability to implement new systems in Haiti.  The inability to get to the mission field ourselves has also restricted our ability to follow-up on existing site installations to ensure they are still operating.  However, God has blessed us with a host of wonderful strategic partners that has enabled us to still support those in need of clean water.

Specific accomplishments include the following:

NLI - Mision Chistiana Esmirna Del Peru (Quinta Elena).jpg
SWT - sponsored system
NLI & SWT - Honduras
Strategic Partnership
     - New Life International (NLI)

  • Continued to build upon our strategic partnership with New Life International (NLI) by working with them to identify other like-minded missionaries and/or mission agencies that support the need for clean water in other areas of the world and then to “Sponsor” them with purifiers to take to the mission field.

  • SWT successfully sponsored two purifiers for missionaries that were able to travel. One unit was installed in Santa Barbara, Honduras and the second was sent to Tarapoto, Peru.

  • We also continued to develop a pilot program for utilizing NLI resources located in Haiti to conduct site evaluations for previously installed systems located in and around the Mirebalais campus.  The feedback provided will allow us to route materials for system upkeep and repair to the sites needed and allows for more routine check-ups.

  • Received evaluation reports for 6 sites using local Haitian resources in partnership with New Life International’s campus in Mirebalais, Haiti.

Strategic Partnership - Joy in Haiti

  • Continued our partnership with Joy in Haiti in supporting a local school, church, and orphanage in Tabarre, Haiti by sponsoring a local food drive to obtain much needed rice, beans, peanut butter, pasta, and other non-perishables.  The high levels of civil unrest in Haiti have made it difficult to safely obtain food.

  • Collected over 7000 lbs of food as supported by the congregation of Dardenne Presbyterian Church, Dardenne Prairie, MO.

  • Partnered with another faith-based not-for-profit organization of Restore St. Charles to deliver 9 truck loads of food and other supplies from storage to a warehouse where they were loaded on two containers headed for Haiti.
